Four decades after the iconic first Beverly Hills Cop movie, Detroit cop Axel Foley is set to return to the big screen. Paramount Pictures has announced that filming for the fourth installment in the franchise, titled "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F," will begin in 2024.

Eddie Murphy will reprise his signature role as the street-smart cop with a knack for solving crimes. Joining Murphy will be a star-studded cast that includes Taylour Paige, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Bacon, Judge Reinhold, and Paul Reiser.

In "Axel F," the iconic investigator heads back to his old stomping grounds in Beverly Hills to investigate a series of high-stakes robberies. With his witty banter and trademark charm, Foley will once again navigate the glamorous world of Southern California while uncovering a dangerous conspiracy.
